Antiwork

I don’t think this is fair but I don’t know what to do and need some advice..

For context, i’m 18 years old and work at an Italian restaurant doing the takeout work (packing orders, answering calls, etc.) I also only work once a week because of school, though I did start with two. I’ve been working here for over 6 months now and recently, probably around a 2 months ago, someone else was hired ill just call him Joe. He is 19 and works 2 days a week. Last week we somehow got to talking about our pay and Joe told me he makes $17 an hour while I only make $15 for the same job. He said he submitted his application when they were urgently hiring, but i’m almost certain they were also “urgently hiring” when I applied and I still make less. I don’t know if I should even bother mentioning it to a boss or something because I’m a high schooler who works…

I don’t know if I should even bother mentioning it to a boss or something because I’m a high schooler who works for some extra money but I can’t help but find it really unfair that there is a $2 difference in our pay for seemingly no reason? Am i overreacting? I just don’t know what to do and something seems off.
