He wasnt talking about a one time event either, no big things coming up too. He wanted me to wake up every few hours….. just to check my phone.
I honestly thought it was a joke so I laughed a bit and said “haha Ya, I'm not doing that”. He did the whole “Why are you laughing? I'm seriously asking. Would you be able to do that?” I said absolutely not. Then he offered a compromise of “How about just 6am? I don't think its unreasonable to ask you to wake up at 6”. I again told him thats a ridiculous request and I'm not doing that either.
Also for background I start work at 9am. And he was talking about ALL days, holidays, weekends, weekdays.
