I am giving my 2 weeks notice on either Friday or Saturday, haven’t decided yet. I just got an offer for a better job that pays more and is 95% WFH. It also has better opportunities. My current job is pretty toxic, and I have been treated poorly since I started. Also, the supervisory staff is fairly incompetent, and there is really no reason to stay.
Of course, we are already short staffed and another coworker of mine just left on maternity leave. My boss is wanting to rearrange my schedule to help meet staffing needs. Problem is, I am giving my notice in 2 days.
How do I go about this without causing retaliation. I am really dreading it.
