I was SA and I contacted my employer by phone (around 3 am but I did speak to a human) while I was getting a trauma kit and notified them I couldn’t make it for my 8:30am shift. But now I’m being reprimanded for not emailing instead of calling. No compassion in the work place. This is why no one wants to work.
