Interested in your opinion. In 2020 I signed a new company policy that means I’m a Hybrid worker, working 1 day in the office. This allowed me to move further away and pay cheaper rent, my wife to get a job and for my family to have more stability with the ever increasing inflation.
I recently changed teams and my new boss who doesn’t even work in the same country as me is demanding that I now come in 3 days a week.
This change would mean an expensive and long commute (hour and half + traffic 1 way with $15 in tolls) my wife to work half her hours. My youngest to go into childcare for that time I’m at work.
What do you think I should do?
