So I work for a really small business with 4 other employees plus my boss. One of the employees is my bosses son. This week he brought his sick kid in. My boss said that the kid would just stay in the back with her dad which still fucking sucks but I can’t afford to call out because we have a shit ass pto policy where we don’t get paid overtime and if we do work overtime we can use it as pto. But anyway big surprise, not, the kid comes into her grandmas office and ofc decides to stand by me. Ofc I get sick and have to miss two days. Are kids even allowed in the workplace if they are sick? Also her son brings in his newborn daughter who cries most of the day. I wouldn’t be such a bitch about it but his parents basically find his life and he doesn’t get paid shitty pay like the rest of us. There is more shit, but these are the most recent. I wish I could quit but it’s next to impossible to find a new job in the town I live in. Sorry just wanted to vent I’m so sick of this shit
