I work in Oregon, which is an At Will Employment state. The details of that are a little vague online.
Long story short, my company put in my contract that I give a 2 month notice if I leave.
It’s a European HQ, hence their insistence on 2 months. I’m not close to leaving and even if I did I’ve got a good relationship with them so I’d give as long as possible (gave 10 weeks once when I was moving across the US).
Just curious, if I did just give 2 weeks – could I be in breach of contract?
FYI current HQ is in WA.
