So I worked a paid internship in December, however I quit that month. They pay monthly by the first of every month, and said they would make sure I get paid.
January 1st came and I didn't see anything in my direct deposit, so I emailed them and they said they mailed a check.
Well, I had to move towards the end of January, and didn't receive the check by then, so I asked if they could send it to my new address. They said they could, but it might take a while for them to void the last one. This was in late January. It is March now and I haven't heard anything.
I'm trying not to be demanding with them, but it has been 2 months since I should've been paid. If this keeps up I might report them to the Department of Labor or Better Business Bureau or whomever.
