Need help or advice for my situation. I want to be the voice for 2 of my coworkers. There are two employees who were basically kicked out from their job because company decided to pay another company to do their work. They only need one and the one who wants to stay is newer doesn't know English and is being told to work among us with customers when previously they worked hours where business was closed. My coworker who's been there for 7 years doesnt want to be in front of customers and never had to untill recently. Before the change their jobs and duties were completely different then ours who deals with customer they operated during closed business hours. They only need one so know what happens the the other coworker? Fired no they're having him slowly leave so they won't have to pay for his unemployment. I'm talking to the assistant manager about it and trying to figure out the miscommunications about their hours and ideally want to know where their employment stands. Need help or advice asap. I stay in California and this company is a competitor of Starbucks.
