my poor pathetic work overlords

We were told the end of last month with a close bimonthly payroll cycle and a payday on the 28th, they had to estimate our hours on Friday last week to do payroll on time. Just like always, it's wrong. The last time, HR ignored the hours that I reported my boss and I was underpaid. This time, to avoid that they paid us all for our expected shift on Friday and would correct the following payroll. Sounds legal right sounds legal, right? It would be but they didn't adjust overtime for the midweek payroll cut off, and carry over overtime for people who work weekends in the same declared work week. So now, we are all underpaid in violation of wage law, and have to ask for our money, because our poor HR team doesn't want to get up early enough or stay late enough to get payroll done…

Or my company is just plain too stupid or too lazy to get better software like ADP instead of PayChex.* Or they could be smart and manually enter the hours as an override so it calculates correctly?

My poor work overlords. Their high salaries must not be enough …

PSA: *Intentionally changed my payroll company and a competitor to avoid detection by employer. Since our First Amendment rights aren't protected on social media against employers in reasonable situations, I always recommend no one here risk said.

List of my demands be for American workers:
End at will employment
Mandatory arbitration in employment is forbidden
All employment contracts not directly related to compensation terms including policy manuals are considered contracts of adhesion (that's what they are, take it or leave it), with any vaguer in favor of the employee
Agreements for IP can only be forced if you create product during work hours
Employers cannot prevent you from working at non-competitors during any off hours, including lunch
Employers cannot force employees to sign waivers for class actions
Employees outside management and sales cannot be bound by non-competes after employment ends
Social media posts against employers are political, just like voting politics, and should be 1A protected unless you are in sales, marketing, PR, ad spokesperson, advertising, HR, management or company leadership like C-Suite (the bad guy, or the fact of the company in public)

This is the start to curb capitalism, this is the way.
