What happens after resignation

So, my new lead is kind of a tool. Just got locked last week and he really expects me to stay with their project for 3+ years and work overtime too. I'm however planning to quit sometime around May but I agreed to get locked to this project because I didn't wanna spend another 2 months on bench. (I can take my bonus that way) My question is – what's the worst that a manager/lead can do out of spite when I quit just a month or two in the project apart from making my word load worse? Can they throw me into PIP or refuse to give me my relieving/experience letter after I've resigned? Opinions and advice pleaaaasseee
