Quit vs Resign vs underperform till Get Fired ? Can we discuss the pros and cons once and for all ?

I been meaning to change my job for a while, and also just been reevaluating my entire career and thinking about alternative paths. I been lazy tho and haven't done it in time enough, and now the conditions at my job has become very hostile. I'm on the verge of saying 'I quit' but I wanna milk the most out of the company, so what are the pros and cons of the three methods of separation?
