I woke up in the morning and I didn't feel good so I called off sick, instead of directing me to my managers phone I was sent to the speaker phone by the counter where my own coworker answered. I told them I was looking for the manager and I was calling off. The manager came with a big attitude. I have only called off twice all last year and none this year. He said why? You feel bad? Yes I'm sick I told him, I'll be in tomorrow. He said thanks in a sarcastic way. I asked for what and he said not coming in. I don't understand why I'm getting treated like this. I got upset and hung up. He called me right back and I yelled at him that he could never talk to me like that again. Later on I got a call from the owner of the company. I told him what happened but he seemed to side with the manager and now tomorrow when I go back we have to all sit down and talk about it. I don't feel like anyone else has to deal with this when they call off. Again, I'm not a frequent call off. Thank you for listening to me vent
