Mini Rant about co-worker

So this post isn't about pay or management. But it's one of those smaller things that makes a workplace more difficult… Loud and talkative colleagues. I have a colleague, let's call her Apple. Now apple, every time she comes in, without fail will talk to anyone about her personal life, family, her studies and such. For up to a solid 30 mins, if not more. Loudly. It doesn't matter when her shift starts. She's not bad at her job. She's just annoying in that way. Why can she not come in and be a bit quieter or less talkative? She is also very loud when I am trying to do my job. It just makes it harder to think. I often find myself covering one ear to hear myself think. Maybe she needs more social stimulation outside of work? Also she is often a few minutes late. And will start…

She is also very loud when I am trying to do my job. It just makes it harder to think. I often find myself covering one ear to hear myself think. Maybe she needs more social stimulation outside of work? Also she is often a few minutes late. And will start a conversation before starting tasks at hand.

Not sure if this is relatable. Thanks for reading. Rant over. FYI: it's an office inner-city job. Also casual conversations are all good when the work has died down, also when they are not so loud.
