so apparently now im managing a new guy here at work. i told my boss that it wouldnt really sit right with me if we were making about the same pay. he told me “we're pennies apart” because it's “my first management role” and 'he has a bit more experience in the industry'. this ALSO doesn't sit right with me… i've been at this company for three years and he (boss) turns to me for a lot of daily things and requests because he can count on me however i feel like i'm getting fucked here.. when i asked about it, he said we'll discuss my pay during my annual review (in july…). how do you handle this next conversation with your boss? i'm infuriated and i'm not standing for it.
