Isn't it great how our goal in life drilled into us from birth isn't to live a happy life or be a good human or anything similar.
Instead we must strive to be productive members of society. Our entire value to society is measured in productivity. And they tell us what productive means: working for them to keep the machine running and fuel their lifestyle. Learning to grow food and feeding your community yourself isn't productive but learning to grow food and working for their food distribution company is.
Instead of everyone producing and sharing our skills for and with each other we've been duped into giving a middleman (the capitalist) all our value, letting him determine how much of it we can keep and then thanking him for the privilege.
