A little context, I am an intern at an agency and have been there since June. I am still an intern because I work and study at the same time, and my boss wanted me to stick around so we found a work study balance/contract. However, once she took me out to lunch and proposed for me to change my role and be my personal assistant, since she was looking for one and trusted me. I was quite happy as she is a big deal in the industry I am in and it would be great to learn from her. Since then I have had amazing experiences and she gave me great opportunities. However, I cannot shake the feeling she doesn't necessarily like me, although a coworker I am close with told me from the beginning she really likes me and he basically spilled the fact she wanted me to be her assistant months before I got offered the position. This, unfortunately, does not translate on how she acts towards me sometimes. Considering I have never been a personal assistant I am trying to accommodate to what she likes and see her working style, but she expects me to know everything from the get go. When I make a minor mistake she gets really mad and makes rude comments. I am afraid to ask her for help or guidance or any questions cause she seems annoyed when I do. There is another intern who joined after me, and she has given him more opportunities for actual work and develop himself in the company. When he makes a mistake she seems to help him and take her time. It's really frustrating, because I would like to take more tasks but never seem to get them even if I have communicated it with her, and I feel like she doesn't like me. What should I do?
