I had a casino call me for a job interview and when I went in HR told me that the position had already been filled. So I wasted my time and gas to come in for an interview for a position that they didn’t interview all of the candidates for.
I had a nursing home contact me on indeed two hours after I submitted my application asking if I was still interested and wanted to discuss next steps, and I never heard back. I called today and they said that they filled the position.
I know these are only two of the however many jobs I’ve applied to, but both places contacted me and filled the position before I even got a chance to interview for it and it’s just depressing.
