Got fired and besides the tiny ego bruise, I’m happy as hell. The company I worked for is a cult (really), they only keep “like minded” people around and the CEO has founded multiple companies as a fast cash grab. They only hire young and naive people and give them big titles but no pay to match. I was not given a reason why I was fired but it was after I complained about ongoing construction while we were at the office which is totally unsafe, metal was being welded. I was sent an email after the workday stating “They’re going another direction” but I know I was fired because the CEO dislikes me. Like I said it gives off very much cult vibes because they will exclude you from meetings if you don’t kiss the CEO’s ass. They plan to sell the company next year (cash grab) which causes them to not gaf about their employees and keep violating workers’ rights. Just wanted to rant!
