Multilevel Marketing Should Be Illegal

Applying for jobs because my work is slow and I’m worried I’ll be laid off soon. Get a call from a company. I think the original position I applied for was for admin assistant. They call me on Good Friday. The lady cannot answer basic questions other than “it’s commission” and tells me she can’t answer a lot of my other questions about the position. Says they’re in the financial industry. They tell me that they need 6 references (who I’m sure they’re going to hit up to join their mlm). They said once I pass the reference check I can take their course. Followed by a 90 day monitoring period. The course costs $300. I’m guessing primerica is rebranding? I have a company name: Lifestyles. They sent me emails requesting 6 references and then some questionnaire. Just seemed ridiculous. Nobody asks for 6 references. There is no such thing…

There is no such thing as an ethical mlm company.
