Help Me Make Hot Desking Work

Hi everyone, I wasn't sure where to post this but I figured you all would have some good ideas. I just started this new role I am pretty excited about it. I'm the newest to an established team, and most of us are part-timers (myself included). The people seem lovely, I'm doing what I like, the schedule is tailored for me and the pay is good for what I am doing. However its hot-desking. As the newest, I will be at the desk of whomever is working at home that day.

How do I make this work? I'm a super tidy person, I am Miranda Priestly about my desk, everything filed, put away, even the keyboard put away. I even like to wipe it down at the end of the day. But I am aware that I can't do that at someone else's desk and what do I do if I get there and their desk is messy? Also I don't even have a drawer. What is the best way to leave a few of my things at work, like notebook and pens? Should I get a pretty box with my name on?

I'm so sorry about the dumb questions. I just want to feel at ease and not step on anyone's toes.
