I responded professionally and diplomatically, and our manager wants to meet with us tomorrow to soften things and make sure “everyone is on the same page”. Here's the thing — I found out from another co-worker that in addition to her attitude and the grievances I am going to bring up tomorrow, she has also been pointing out when others' numbers are lower and gloating that hers are higher. She truly believes she is the only one who gets extra tasks or projects assigned to her, when the reason others' numbers are lower is because they are working on escalations or other things. Even if they weren't, what business of it is hers?
I was stunned and planned to add that to the discussion tomorrow because this is not the first time she has insinuated that she works harder than the rest of the team. I tried to bring it to the manager's attention once and was told it would be looked into, but of course, nothing happened. The person who revealed that she gloats about her higher numbers said that it was told to them in a whisper, so if I bring it up, it will be obvious that it was revealed. Should I just sit on this or say that I overheard it, even if I didn't? I WAS in the room at the time, I just had no idea this was being said. What would you do?
