When do older workers stop harassing younger?

Idk where to post this rant, sorry if it's against rules or some shit. I entered the workforce at 21 (tried since 18) and am now 29. Ever since I started working, older people (like 40+) would always be suspicious of me. For example, id be working and stop for a couple minutes to breath or chat for a minute with a passerby (retail work) and some 60 year old manager would act like im not doing ANYTHING (when i worked salesfloor). This has been ongoing. Id be doing the same quality of work as everyone else and sometimes better. Some managers, especially front end, would appreciate me and see that I was a good worker and some even recommended me to be a supervisor on the front but I didn't want it (when I was a casheir). Now I'm at another store, I don't overly socialize. I'm a cartpusher…

Now I'm at another store, I don't overly socialize. I'm a cartpusher and ill sometimes socialize with the other cartpushers. Usually during the first 3 hours of the shift (6am – 9am) is unbearably boring and ill work with my other cartpusher till 10 when it picks up or we'll work together throughout the shift if its not super busy.

This morning the team lead forced us to split sides at fucking 7am. Mind you, we work well together, we keep up very good and we work in sync like an A team. We do talk a lot and I think its fine because it doesn't reflect on the quality of our work and every team lead has witnessed that.

But for some reason one team lead wanted us to split up? Our lot was totally empty and they said they had nothing for us to do in the mean time? Is it because we're opposite gender and it could cause an issue because we're friends and get along well? Like bro, I'm married and my wife knows about her and doesn't care and I'm faithful.
All the dude cartpushers do the same thing we do and they never get forced to split.
I feel like, yet again, I'm starting to be targeted despite my quality performance.
I'm going to be talking to one of the team leads i trust to see what she has to say on the issue, to see if there is an underlying cause. There was no reason to split us up at the asscrack of dawn when we have nothing to do. At 10am I wouldn't have cared but things aren't adding up.
Edit: Oh and she came out to make sure I was over there. Like why?
