I already feel guilty.
I’m a manager for a small group home. On call 24/7. Shit pay.
Two staff down for unknown amount of time. No one in the company will work at the house because of violent behaviors (I get that but bad news for me). This means 7 days a week for me and some doubles thrown in. I feel like I’m going to mentally break because it’s just too much responsibility.
I have a new job lined up that I’ll start at the end of the May. I really want to just quit my current job and float on my remaining pay until I start. I feel bad leaving the remaining staff in a bad spot.
