Hi- I know this isn’t a legal sub, but my mediation appointment is next week and I CANNOT find a lawyer in time- not a lawyer that refuses to help- a employment lawyer, period. The only one I found wanted $1200 upfront and that is far outside of my realm of possibility. Is there anyone who’s already done the mediation out there I could look to for guidance before going into this thing blind??

Edit: guys I PROMISE it’s not a lawyer just not taking my case, it’s that there are no employment lawyers available in my area. My case is guaranteed/already partially paid.
