Anybody else struggling with finding a job? I’m a college student home for the summer, and I’ve been applying to jobs for over a month and still nothing! So many businesses in my area have those passive-aggressive signs up about staffing shortages, and yet when I apply they literally never get back to me. It also doesn’t help that I don’t have a car, so I am extremely limited on where I can work. I am just SO fed up with living in a country where I need to work to afford to live but to be able to work I need access to transportation that just doesn’t exist in any practical way.
And it’s not like I’m unqualified for the positions I’m applying for. How many times do I have to tell corporations I know how to use a cash register a mop floors before someone hires me? I’m just trying to pay for the rest of my physical Therapy so I can keep my scholarship and finish school. Why does this have to be so fucking hard
