Employers asking what you current pay is before asking desired pay are being entirely unfair. It’s just a way to low-ball us.

I mean, I trained for something that should pay at least $25/hour, in my opinion (Science Exhibit Facilitator/Coordinator). If I tell them I make $15.50 at Target right now, do you really think they’ll offer me $20+? Or a position at all even?
