This past year, I was offered a job with the company I interned at over the summer. As an individual with ADHD, I work better in a quiet environment. So I accepted this remote job, and declined offers with better compensation. Not to mention the fact that I have a girlfriend in my current city, as well as family and friends I want to stay close to. This morning I got an email that all new hires would be starting in person in another state, with less than one month till my start date.
Employers don't care about you.
