Job hunting is insanely frustrating

This is more of a vent than anything about job hunting. I’ve been out of a job since December, and I keep looking for jobs but it’s so difficult. I don’t have a car so I’m reliant on my mom but she’s always helping my sick grandma so she can’t take me to night shifts. I don’t get why a simple no you’re not hired email or call is that hard? I live in a small town, it’s not like they have hundreds of applications to see. Hell I’d take a ‘go fuck yourself’ over just being ignored for months. I’m stuck in a dead end right now and for places that are ‘desperately hiring’, none of them sure seem to desperate to even look at applications.
