Should I Tell Bosses Coworker Is On Her Way Out?

I know that sounds bad y'all, but we're a small (under 18 people) company, we recently grew exponentially this year and had to hire to keep up. Have 2 owners, a general manager, warehouse staff and drivers, and office staff. I've been in the office for two years and have seen the company grow. Last year we hired a part-timer who cannot get more hours due to lack of childcare. But now we need a third office person, full-time, so I can take days off and the office run smoothly. We're hitting heavy season. She is unreliable, dramatic, takes days off on a whim, and applied for a different job. I don't blame her for wanting to leave, it pays better and has health benefits. But she's leaving us hanging and hasn't told the bosses. I'm left picking up and doing extra work. She got a concussion over the weekend.…

She got a concussion over the weekend. I was supposed to take half of next week off but I'll probably end up WFH since she has a legitimate reason now.

I really just need some perspective and help. I don't want to tattle on her. But who knows how long she'll be out? When we could be interviewing now. I've been here two years and need support that I am not getting right now. Oh, and one of the bosses has cancer.

I'm a little self-centered, sure, but we're so small that they're not going to fire her for looking. They brought their daughter in this morning to help me but why should I train her when we could hire someone to replace this no-show?!

Looking for advice, perspective, personal stories, anything. I know it sucks right now but I've basically been in “sucky mode” since January. And no I'm not planning on leaving this job.
