Companies who whines about time theft are committing wage theft themselves

Wage theft by employers is the biggest form of theft compared to other forms of robbery, shoplifting, etc. Speaking from personal experience, companies that micromanages time such as timing bathroom breaks,having the “if you got time to lean you got time to clean” mentality, or betraying you doing non work related things like talking to a coworker during down time are also committing some form of wage theft. Wage theft can be in the form of making you come 15 minutes early to “prepare” but not letting you clock in, stealing tips for those who get tips, and time card editing where employers edit your time card where it seems like you took a break but you actually didn’t. Don’t let these penny pinchers take away your hard earned money and make sure to keep track of timesheet and paychecks. Also always do what is stated in your job description.…
