I’m too negative

Run down on the company I work for. It’s a small lab company in my hometown. We travel the country setting up and maintaining labs. The company was started by 3 people, 1 who put their name as sole owner. 1 of them built the company with another coworker and the other done bare minimum and sits on a fat salary. Sole owner fired the one that built the company over the truth. A few months ago, boss comes to my office and ask a simple question. “What don’t you like about the job?” At this point I’d been here a year and 2 months. Good job, fun coworkers, good benefits, good pay, but bosses not so much. Told him my opinion and before I could actually start he interrupted me. Raised his voice and demanded my 2 weeks. “What don’t you like about the job?”
At this point I’d been here a year and 2 months. Good job, fun coworkers, good benefits, good pay, but bosses not so much. Told him my opinion and before I could actually start he interrupted me. Raised his voice and demanded my 2 weeks. I said ok then then he went on and on about how he was sorry, trying to see what my reaction would be, a bunch of bs. Proceeded to tell me I needed to quit being negative, it was ruining everyone’s performance (?). He’s mad because he, once again, severely failed at management and communication in the previous months. He continuously creates unrealistic expectations and deadlines. He gave me strict orders that I only take orders from him and the other “boss”. Whatever, ok. He gave me the whole “every time we have to spend money it’s money out of YOUR pocket”. Nah, whenever we spend money it’s just a bit less of a rental property or boat you can’t buy through the company.
I’ve followed exactly that. At this time, sole owner also told certain employees that their newly created subordinates were no longer allowed to speak to him. Everything must come from certain people. Watched the man invite a coworker to a company cookout and tell them to tell their subordinate who was standing no more than 3 feet away.
Yesterday, I get an email from HR asking if I could setup shipping for some equipment the sole owner had purchased. I’m currently on the road, so I attempted to call the sole owner. No answer, but I get a call a few minutes later from a coworker. Coworker is asking what issues I’m having where I’m at. I told him I had no issues, I just needed to get clarification on this equipment purchase from the sole owner.
I guess I’m now on the no longer allowed to speak to boss list.
But I’m too negative and it’s my fault.
