I was fired for being wrongfully arrested

I'm in Illinois and I was fired for being arrested at work I was not charged or convicted and everything worked out as a misunderstanding however supervisor decided that I had not quote met the requirements of the probationary period, I've only been there for like a month, and today I got called on my day off and was fired they refused to say that I was fired for being arrested however there was no other reason to fire me I have one point for attendance cuz I was late one day and my production was excellent I was meeting quota and previous to the day I was arrested told I was doing a really good job several times by the same supervisor. It's my understanding that in the state of Illinois it's illegal to fire someone simply for being arrested however they refuse to state that that was a…
