Essentially a rant but what is the actual logical reasoning behind the minimum wage for say a 17 year old being different than the rate for a 23+ year old?
I’m a student working part time right now and I don’t get why two people doing the exact same job at the same company are legally allowed to be paid a different minimum wage.
It’s not like I’m doing less because I’m younger. In fact I feel like the younger employees actually work a bit harder as they seem to have more “energy”.
It just feels really unjust
