I currently work at a low paying/minimum wage job that I'm considering quitting. Because I work at night, my manager isn't around at all, and I don't have the chance to hand in a two weeks notice letter. Would it be unprofessional to send it over email and them notify him by text, or should I just sick it up and give him said notice in the day? This job has mistreated me for months now and I'm sick of it. Should I mention this if I'm asked why I'm quitting? Should I just quit without said two weeks?
