I was fired yesterday. Long story short(ish), they changed the schedule outside of my availability. Old management approved me leaving early to go pick my son up from school, new management knew this was happening and never said a word until yesterday. They said I “Abandoned work without approval”. I was having other issues with them scheduling us on our off days with short notice and emailed HR so I’m sure this was retaliation. Oh well, I hated that place and was regularly looking for a new job. I just wish leaving was on my choosing.
I have been saying to myself that management can “suck my balls out of my asshole” for some time now and regret not saying that too them in person when they fired me.
