I’ve been put on Disciplinary recently for some stupid mistakes I’ve made and I done an appeal against the decision but the result was upheld. So I’ve decided to put that behind me and move on. Be mature about the whole thing even though I wasn’t happy and focus on doing my work. I had couple days off for holiday and I came back to work on Monday only for my boss to say to me ‘Is that what you do on your days off, Phone health and safety to report us? Pathetic.’ Then she walked away.
So I’m standing there confused because she decided to point blank accused me of something I’ve never done and I don’t have a clue what she’s talking about. I spoke to my supervisor who told me he’d have a chat with her and even he does not know what’s going on. Turns on somebody had phoned to report them and my boss had been contacted about this. She had actually blatantly lied to my supervisor though because she told him she didn’t have a clue what I was on about and pretended to him that the whole thing never happened.
So my theory being that my boss thinks I was the one who phoned up to report them because I was not happy with the Disciplinary and the decision to do with that. What can I do in this situation? Any advice would be very much appreciated. I’m losing my patience and seriously frustrated, angry and upset about the whole thing. Thanks for reading.
