So our HR person sent out an email Friday with a new position in the company… basically doing what I do. I wasn’t to interested until it said right in the post the starting salary for this job was $2,000 more than I’m currently making. I emailed HR and she said she was pretty sure I was making that and I replied I’m not. So, she comes back and tells me it was an error on their part and they’ll bump me to the starting pay of that job only ITS THE SAME job and I have 3 years experience with this company/role.
I’m so pissed I can’t even think straight. My husband told me to be happy for the raise now but I should be making MORE. I’m being boned… only he doesn’t see it that way. Ugh.
