Sitting back and enjoying the show while the company falls apart

I've been at my job for about a year and a half now, and a lot of changes have happened during that time (merger with a bigger company, management changes, making people come in on Saturdays, among other things) and it's resulted in lot of dissatisfied employees and people leaving. I used to work on a team of 12 people but moved to a different team because I was lied to about getting a promotion (several others have left for this same reason) and that team will soon be down to 3 people, one of whom has been at the company for less than a month. I heard from a coworker today that management is apparently so desperate that they're talking about moving me back to my old team (that's a fat fucking NO from me) Little do they know I'm interviewing with other jobs and on my way out…

It's fun to just sit back and watch the fire burn 🙂
