So long story short, I was about to reach the carrot my managers have been dangling in front of me at the company I work, yesterday they shook my hand with one and slapped me with the other.
I'm from the UK so we know about the cost of living problems going on here, 10% inflation etc. We're contracted a pay review every May, according to management it was delayed due to their accounts taking time to process. Everyone works hard to meet the ridiculous lead times that the company offers… we deal with endless promises and no deliveries… we got 3%.
3, fucking, percent
Oh and let's not forget they promised to back date it to May! Oh, they're not going to do that either? Ah ok.
I'm going to drop a “professional courtesy” email on Monday telling them to cancel any and all planned training for me as I'm fucking off. I cannot deal with that crap anymore and it's a joke, I've been sending out my CV, and I'm actively looking to work for bigger companies now.
