Turned out that my performance plan was to do things that I was already doing that my manager didn’t know I was because he can’t read the recipients list on an email, that he produced as evidence of my alleged fail.

Was he cheering me up on purpose? Should I mention it in standup? How many times could I get away with bringing it up in my annual review?
