I’ve been applying to at least a dozen jobs every single day. ONE company got back to me for a phone interview, and then ghosted me after saying they’d follow up with an email whether they wanted to go forward or not. It’s infuriating. All of these places say they’re “urgently hiring”, but no one responds.
My résumé isn’t anything special, but it’s got 4 years of job experience on it. I’m literally applying to grocery stores and stuff like that, I’m not trying to get a job I’m under qualified for.
I just need to be able to afford food and a couple necessities for my daughter. I can’t even afford ramen noodles.
