We just had a dude who was a former manager leave due to the company pissing him off. They decided that since he worked here a while it would be a good idea to have a farewell meal for him. He have 12 employees on my shift they could literally buy 4 pizzas and have a meal for us. Instead they decided we would have a potluck so the employee have to purchase and cook the meal. This job feels thankless and like they don't care about us at all.
