i’ve been at this job for maybe three months now. it’s just a grocery store and i’m only working here to pay for bills while i’m in college. i called in the first month of working because my car wouldn’t start — battery was dead. my dad drove 3 hours to come fix it for me. this morning i went down to go to work and….it wouldn’t start! i called my store when they opened to let them know i couldn’t come and the manager lady was like “hmm hasn’t this happened before?’ like yes bro thanks for rubbing it in that i’m having to drop dollars on my car multiple times in a few months. i’m not a bad worker. literally just got employee of the quarter. they’re lucky i even told them what was up tbh. her tone just rlly pissed me off bc she was tryna call me a liar. like fuck off bro sorry ion make bucks i can hardly even shop at our grocery store with the pay i get
