Cover my own shift and you won’t give me a raise?

When I was 15, my older sister told me the restaurant she served didn’t have a dishwasher that day. I was under the legal 16 yr-old state minimum to work, but agreed with the manager to be paid cash for the shift. After the shift, the manager asked if I wanted to start working 4 days a week (I turned 16 the next week) and I accepted. When she was explaining I would have to cover my own shift if unable to work, I asked if I could tell her right then that I wanted every weekend off to go deer hunting 6 months in the future in November. She said that was not an issue since I was telling her 6 months out (and I was using it as leverage because they needed a dishwasher ASAP). Fast forward about 4 months and I transitioned from dishwashing to cooking and it should have came with a $2.50/hr raise. I was told that I would get the raise after I was fully trained as a cook. Well after I was fully trained, 2 different assistant managers told me I was “killing it” and they were going to give me the raise; I did. It inquire about the raise first, they brought it up to me. The raise never happened, the GM laughed in my face when I talked to him about the raise. Come November, they said I couldn’t have the weekends off if I didn’t find someone to cover them after they told me they would cover the shifts.

I quit the job because I was lied to twice. I did not give a 2-week notice. When I picked up my last check the GM got in my face and his chest was touching mine he was so close to me. I took my check and left.

TL;DR: they told me they would cover my shifts and that I would get a raise after changing roles. They lied about both so I quit without a notice.
