Antiwork

I quit a job a few years back for discrimination and they expected me to do an exit interview.

No joke at all. I was prompt, always willing to work OT, etc. The shop itself was very prominently Nepali immigrants, the in-house supervision (two guys) were both Muslim, no problem! Until I heard them talking about the “ridiculous white Christian” that always works over. Im not kidding, at all. I went to HR who also happened to be the plant managers daughter, she stated they were basically immune because they’d kept the place running for so long. I was suspended after reporting it. I quit, and went to pick my toolbox up and was sitting in the lobby, the door opens and the HR woman walks out with both of the supervisors and says “Oh, look who’s here to help you with your tools!”. I wish that I was more aware of the world when this happened. Alas, it’s been a decade since and the company went under shortly…

So yeah. There’s my antiwork story.
