A basic house for “the poor folk” would cost around $800,000 for a monthly mortgage payment (if you managed to get the $160,000 for a downpayment) of $4,930. At the top of the pay range you get $5712 after taxes. So a decade of working up to not being able to afford food.
Not to mention that they say they encourage “cross training” which translates to “we will make you do things you aren’t trained in or want to do.”
