I am new to the working word(just graduated) as a developer and I like coding (I do extra on my free time)
What I hate the most is the fact that I hate being controlled and being so not flexible,I hate work politics, I hate commuting and I hate meetings.I understand that company trust none but why do they have to control everything I do , we are supposedly in an hybrid format but they control were I log in from , what is the difference if I am in Poland or at the office , as long as I am doing my work(?). Why do I have to work 9-5 if I can get stuff done, should it not matter when and how I work? I am a developer I like to work while I watch Netflix in my house at 8 pm why should I wake up at 7 am to commute to an office in the middle of nowhere to sit on my own for 9 hours and do all my meetings in teams.
I also absolutely hate politics and work place rules, I got reported during my probation, not because I wasn't performing , but because I wasn't bothered and I looked unhappy and got treated to be fired if I didn't have a better attitude while at the office (not with people but while I am coding (?)).
Also I hate spending half of my day on meeting where I have to say 3 words. What is the fucking point, just use emails or messages.
My boss is so bad at managing and has no idea what anyone does but this is another topic.
Am I weird to dream a job where I don't have to get involve in all this shit and only do my job,let me code you will have everything ready for you by before you asked but leave me be me. (Indeed I am one of the developer that commits more changes (150% of any other Devs) even through I had no experience on this language before and I have never introduce any bug in prod)
Is this what I will need to deal all my life?
