I can’t get over this interview experience I had

I was having a really bad experience with managing at a video game chain store so I decided to go after a bigger opportunity. I'm trying to get a print business together so I thought applying at the biggest print center in the county would be a great fit for me to gain experience. They interview me in the furniture section of the store in front of customers. that stunk. a private office would have been more professional and nicer. then they went on about how much responsibility it will be and talked about how they have the most accounts out of all the corporate stores in the area. totally cool. they then went on to keep saying how people keep quitting cuz it's a lot of work. but what got me is they wanted to pay me 17 an hour. 17 an hour to run the biggest print center…

17 an hour to run the biggest print center in the area?! I asked for more money. I set up a meeting with the district manager. They wanted me to drive over an hour to see him and POTENTIALLY get more money. couldn't this be a phone call? whatever.
day comes. I'm getting ready to go. the district manager TEXTS ME hey can we push this interview a couple hours?
so many red flags. I said I'm no longer interested in this opportunity. thanks for your time.

went and got a job at a bank making 18 just being a teller. Also full time .
no wonder you can't fill these job roles. even at my current bank they're trying to hire leaders at pretty much slightly above my wage, which honestly I still find mediocre given the amount of importance a bank tellers job truly is. at least I get commission as well.

Corporations really have garnered antiworker policies, it's astounding these places find staff at all.
