Two specialised advanced degrees (int. development and project management) (I have a management masters only)
Fluency in English; good Spanish and Portugese; and French would be an asset. (I speak English and ok French)
15 years Management experience 10 of which in a super niche and specific area. (I have 6 years management experience and none even close to the niche field)
Experience managing complex local teams in isolated native African communities. (I have never managed a team anywhere in Africa)

All of my experience was clear from my LinkedIn profile. I then get a message from the recruiter asking me why I didn’t apply as she thought my profile was interesting and wanted to learn how they can attract good candidates in future.

Are they really this dense?! How can it be your full time job to recruit people and have zero self-awareness to realise why I might have been put off from this job?!
